Sponsor an Operation Christmas Child box
Boxes are prepared like the ones at the JC4 center with items volunteers have collected through couponing and donations, but help is needed to make sure that all 50 of them can be shipped to children across the world. For $7.00 you can sponsor a box and give a child, who most likely, has never received a gift before, the gift of Christmas. You can fill out the information at JC4 or you can do an online donation for shipping and give your barcode label and coloring page to JC4 before the pickup date of November 18th.
Step 1: Fill out the donation form and include your $7.00 check made out to Samaritans Purse.
Step 2: Decide Boy or Girl and age group.
Step 3: Help your child(ren) fill out the Coloring Pages.
Step 4: Drop it off at JC4 on or before November 18th.
An OCC volunteer has 50 boxes pre-packed and will include your coloring page and attach the label.
Giving Tree
We will have our Giving Tree up for families to take a tag and give JOY to someone in need of Holiday Cheer. Tags will go out November 1st and are due back December 1st.

Joy Community Christian Children’s Center is a non-denominational Christian pre-school and day care center located in Lake in the Hills, IL with programs for children ages 2-7. A day in the life of a JC4 kid starts with a warm smile from our staff at our safe, convenient curb-side drop-off. In her bright, clean classroom she’ll start her day exploring music and Bible stories along with the day’s educational theme and focus at circle time with her teacher. One-on-one time follows, as each child explores art, language and math projects under the guidance of his own teacher while his classmates play and pretend in learning centers around the room. The rest of the preschool day includes snack and clean-up, large motor play time (outside when weather permits) and an ends with a closing circle that restates and reinforces the day’s theme.
Our daycare kids continue their day eating a hot, healthy catered lunch, have rest time and then spend the rest of the day engaged in creative play and more one-on-one learning time with their teacher until their parents arrive
